Can St. Joseph Help you to Sell your Home?

If you are desperate to sell your home, and serious about trying anything that will give you the edge in a competitive market, you could try looking for some spiritual help. St. Joseph, as well as being the patron saint of workers, of fighting communism, carpenters, wheelwrights and protecting those in danger of sudden death, he is also renowned for aiding the sale of property. He is also the patron saint of house sellers and buyers and is commonly called on to help those who want a quick sale for their house.

To ask for his help you should take a graven image of St. Joseph and bury him in the ground outside your house. General opinion seems to say he should be upside down, facing the house, possibly near the ‘For Sale’ sign. A prayer should then be said to St Joseph, requesting his help. Once the house has been successfully sold the statue should be dug up and given pride of place in the new home by way of thanks for his help.

In the US, you can buy a complete home sellers kit which includes a statue, a prayer card and a bag to keep your statue clean whilst it is buried. In fact one retailer will even list your house for sale free on their website with every purchase.

At the time of writing I have not been able to find an online retailer in the UK of such a kit, but if we find one, we will let you know! A number of kits and statues are available from Amazon.com. Please note however, that we cannot make any promise that this will actually improve your chances in the property market.
