Tesco Launch New Property Website
As well as groceries, homewares, clothes and toys, you can now pick up a new house at Tesco! The grocery giant have launched a new online property venture, Tesco Property Market. This brand new property website will provide customers in England and Wales with a one-stop online property shop.
The service, available through Tesco.com, has been developed with the help of industry experts and contains content from consumer groups, including Which?, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Lawpack, and the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.
Tesco Property Market will offer users trusted, impartial information about all aspects of buying, selling and moving home, and brings more choice and convenience to home-movers.
This new service allows home seekers to search for a new home from hundreds of thousands of estate agents’ properties for sale. Properties are provided by Tesco Property Market’s portal partners who will benefit from significantly increased traffic.
Site visitors will be able to access essential community information about neighbourhood schools, transport and local government. They can purchase great value products from our home shopping sites as well as third party services, including online conveyancing to handle the legal process, Home Information Packs (HIPs), and Home Buyer’s Expense Insurance – a great new product which provides customers with peace of mind, given that one in four sales transactions fail costing buyers £350 million a year.
Property sellers in England and Wales will be able to use the site’s extensive range of online tools to advertise and manage their own home sale for £199, or choose an estate agent from the approved Ombudsman for Estate Agents (OEA) list to sell their home.
